Dad's famous Swedish Meatballs. We serve these every year on New Year's Eve.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Sausage, Ground
- 1/3 c Onion, White
- 1/2 c Milk
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 lb Beef, Ground
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 c Bread Crumbs
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tsp Garlic
- 1 tsp Celery Seed
- 1 tsp Parsley, Dried
- 1 tsp Savory
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 1 tsp Sage
- 1 tsp Basil
- 1 tbsp Kitchen Bouquet
- 2 can Consomme
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients except kitchen bouquet and consomme. Brown. Add consomme and kitchen bouquet. Bake 1 hour.
