Skyline Chili
This chili is similar to Skyline but tailored to our palates.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef (90% fat works well)
 - 2 cups chopped onions
 - 4 cups beef stock
 - 15oz can tomato sauce
 - 3 tablespoons chili powder
 - 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
 - 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 - 1 teaspoon ground cumin
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
 - 1⁄4 teaspoon ground allspice
 - 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves
 - 1 bay leaf
 
Instructions
- In a large pot or dutch oven, brown ground beef and onion. Drain off the fat.
 - Add beef stock to beef mixture, bring to a boil then simmer 10 minutes.
 - Add remaining ingredients, simmer uncovered for at least 1.5 hours or until the chili has reached your desired consistency.
 - Serve over hot spaghetti, or hot dogs in buns for chili dogs.
 - Top with kidney beans and plenty of shredded cheddar.
