Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Slowly add syrup.
  4. Add eggs one at a time.
  5. Add flour. Beat until well blended.
  6. Turn into greased 9x13" pan.
  7. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Insert a toothpick to determine doneness.
  8. Combine first 3 topping ingredients in a saucepan.
  9. Boil 1 minute then remove from heat.
  10. Add chocolate bits and stir until melted.
  11. Spread on warm brownies. Topping will harden in approximately 2 hours.
