Sticky Rice

Ingredients

  • 1c sticky rice
  • 2c water
  • 3/4 tsp salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add water and rice to a pan, allow to soak for 30 minutes
  2. Turn heat to high until rice boils, then turn down to medium-low until water evaporates
  3. Once water has boiled away turn off the heat and cover the pan for 10 minutes, do not remove from burner
  4. Serve or store covered at room temperature for up to a day
