Sourcream Coffee Cake

Yummy coffee cake. Great for special holidays.
Ingredients
- 2 stick Butter
- 2 c Sugar, White
- 2 Egg
- 1 c Sour Cream
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 c Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3/4 c Nuts, Chopped
- 3/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 3 tbsp Sugar, Brown
Instructions
- Grease and flour tube pan.
- - Cream together butter, sugar and eggs in electric mixer. Then, barley fold in by hand sour cream and vanilla.
- - Sift together the dry ingredients. Fold dry ingredients gently into batter.
- - Mix together Topping ingredients (brown sugar, nuts, cinnamon).
- - Pour half of batter into tube pan. Sprinkle with half of topping. Spoon on rest of batter. Sprinkle on remainder of topping.
- - Bake for 55-60 minutes until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
- - Cool for several hours; then remove from pan. To serve, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
