Creamy Horseradish

This goes really well with prime rib and other beef dishes. The proportions here are rather hot but also pleasant. Use an regular (not extra hot) horseradish or a different ratio of ingredients if this is too much.
Note: It is very important to make this a day ahead of time and to allow it to air out before serving to prevent it being overpowering and harsh.
Ingredients
- 16 ounces sour cream (full fat)
- 4 ounces extra hot horseradish
Instructions
- Mix together and refrigerate overnight
- Remove from refrigerator and set uncovered for at least 1 hour before first use
