Cholula Chicken Sliders
- 1 lb cooked, shredded or pulled chicken or pork
- 2 tbsp Cholula® Chili Garlic Hot Sauce
- 1 cup barbecue sauce, regular flavor
- 5 slider buns (or small dinner rolls of your choice)
- 1 red onion, sliced
- guacamole – optional
- 12oz chicken breasts
- 2c chicken stock (or 2 chicken bullion cubes + 2 cups water)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Combine 2 tbsp Cholula Chili Garlic Hot Sauce with 1 cup barbecue sauce.
- Combine meat and sauce together in a saucepan, heat and stir on medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Assemble sliders on the bun and top with a dollop of guacamole and sliced red onions.
Place chicken in the crockpot with the chicken broth and seasonings of choice, and cover. Let cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low. After cooking, remove chicken from the crockpot with a fork, and place on a cutting board. Shred chicken with 2 forks.
