Apple-Cranberry Crumb Pie

Ingredients
Topping
- 1c all purpose flour
 - 1/2c brown sugar, packed
 - 1/3c old-fashioned oats
 - 3/4t cinnamon
 - 1/2c unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
 
Filling
- 4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, cut into 3/4" pieces (~5 cups)
 - 1 16-oz can whole-berry cranberry sauce
 - 3/4c sugar
 - 1t cornstarch
 
Pie
- 9" frozen pie shell, unthawed
 - Vanilla ice cream
 
Instructions
- Mix flour, brown sugar, oats and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Add butter. Rub in with fingertips until mixture resembles crumbly meal. Set aside.
 - Place baking sheet in oven and preheat to 350°F.
 - Toss apples, cranberry sauce, sugar and cornstarch in a large bowl until well blended.
 - Transfer apple-cranberry filling to frozen pie shell, mounding in center.
 - Sprinkle topping over pie and place on baking sheet in oven.
 - Bake for 70 minutes until apples are tender, juices bubble thickly and crust is golden.
 - Transfer to rack and cool for 15 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
